General Land and Housing

1. Name and address.
2. Do you have permission to stay where you are living? From whom?
3. Do you pay rent to anyone for your home?
4. Do you pay for any other services?
5. How long have you been living there?
6. Where do you work?
7. How long have you been working in this area?
8. Do you have family or anyone else living with you?
   Give names and ages, and say where they work.
9. Do you want to stay in this area permanently?
10. What is your problem -
    Have you been threatened with eviction?
    If so, when?
    By whom?
    What was your response?
    Has the owner go a court order?
11. What was the community's response?
12. Is your house about to be demolished?
    If so, when? By whom?
    Did you get any warning ?
13. Do you need to apply for legal aid to help pay for the lawyer?

Paying off a house that you have bought

1. Name and address.
2. Are you paying the house off in instalments?
   If so, to which financial institution?
3. What monthly costs do you have to pay for your house?
4. Have you ever missed paying an instalment?
   If so, when?
   Why did you miss paying the instalment?
5. Have you spoken to anyone at the bank about your problem?
   If so, who did you speak to?
   What was their response?
